Pozzuoli Jazz Festival 27th of June – Solfatara Volcano Opening Night
The Solfatara Volcano of Pozzuoli is a unique, globally recognized location, more and more often host of artistic events from all over the world.
On the 27th of June, at 21, the Solfatara will again become a music stage for the opening night of the Pozzuoli Jazz Festival. Musicians, beautiful places and desire to share. These are elements and the soul of the event which will shape the evening in the crater of the volcano.
To open the 2015 edition of Pozzuoli Jazz Festival will be the Slivovitz, band with countless musical influences, and the Kefaya collective joined by Daniele Sepe.
The collective, led by guitarist Giuliano Modarelli and by the renowned British pianist Al MacSween, for this occasion will play songs from its latest work: Radio International. Using recordings collected over years of travelling and collaborations with musicians across the globe, Radio International is the soundtrack to a journey across musical and geographical boundaries. Together with Kefaya will be Daniele Sepe, saxophonist and composer from Naples, very appreciated in Italy and in the world.
